The Nose can either be an adornment or an impairment in one’s face. It is one of the most noticeable features of the face. A nose job is usually done as an outpatient procedure or a one-day process. During an operation, the surgeon makes cuts within the nostrils or across the base of the nose. The surgeon then reshapes the inner bone and the cartilage to create a more pleasing appearance.
After a nose job, the patient will wear a nasal splint for the first week and will experience a bit of swelling and bruising around the eyes. It will then begin to improve after the third day but may last up to two weeks.
